FOOTPRINTS 4 Autism understands that families who have a child or children diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum can make family life challenging. The ability to step back and away even for a few hours each month can provide significant benefits for the entire family unit. This is what we do – we provide affordable and accessible quality respite care.
Programs & Services
Programs are recreational and designed for enjoyment through creative activities and social engagement to meet varying interests and abilities. It’s a supportive social setting with peers to create memorable friendships. Respite care is provided by trained volunteers in a group setting under the guidance and supervision of a qualified Program Supervisor.
Saturday Respite Service
Description:
Saturday respite program sessions are offered in the morning or afternoon (full day is not available). Participation is scheduled in advance and you can expect to attend once or twice per month.
AGES: 4 – 13
Cost: $30.00 for 1 session
Available: Saturdays
Morning: 9:00am – 12:30pm
Afternoon: 1:30pm – 5:00pm

Together We Hang
Description:
TWH is designed to foster life skills and build confidence in their journey to adulthood. It is provided in a safe, nonjudgemental and relaxed environment with peers – a ‘social club’.
AGES: 14 –21
Cost: $30.00 for 1 session
Available: Saturdays afternoon at 1:30pm – 5:00pm

Camp Great Strides
Description:
Full day camps are held during summer and winter breaks. There are 2 weeks offered in July and 2 weeks in August. During winter there is 1 week in December. Dates vary each year and registrations open 6 weeks in advance.
AGES: 4 – 13
Cost: $30.00 for half a day
Available: Monday to Friday
Morning: 9:00am – 12:00pm
Afternoon: 1:00pm – 4:00pm
