What We are all about
FOOTPRINTS 4 Autism programs exists through the generosity of so many. Our programs do not receive government funding and are sustained through community volunteers, grants, and corporate and individual donations. Your support and involvement make a difference!

Make a Donation
Make a Financial Donation
Funds are used to maintain current locations and enhance development within Durham Region. Donations support volunteer recruitment and continuous training; programs supplies such as abilities appropriate toys, games and materials; health and safety supplies; operational expenses; and, education to increase awareness.
Donate Program Supplies
You can support our programs in other ways. We accept donations of supplies for our programs. We have received PPEs, water bottles, Twiddle Muffs and craft materials to name a few. Email us if you have an item(s) to donate to our programs.

Donate a Car
We accept vehicle donations through Donate A Car Canada. You can donate your RV, boat, motorcycle or other vehicle to FOOTPRINTS 4 Autism. Donate A Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy.
Requirement
You must be enthusiastic and have a passion for community support, and enjoy having fun connecting with children and youth. We welcome students that need to complete high school volunteer hours. We require a minimum of two shifts per month that consist of one morning (4 hours) and one afternoon session (4 hours). Terms available are 3 months, 6 months and 12 months.
Perks Of Joining the Team
Training
Our volunteers receive hands-on experience by providing direct in-person service delivery to children and youth. Each shift is different and provides opportunity to connect with clients, lead activities and meet other volunteers.
Extensive training is provided to expand knowledge base and develop skills. Benefits include autism education and orientation, on-going support , crisis intervention training, First Aid/CPR training and opportunities to join fun initiatives and projects. In addition, we award an education bursary to support an outstanding volunteer annually!
