Get Involved

FOOTPRINTS 4 Autism programs exists through the generosity of so many. Our programs do not receive government funding and are sustained through community volunteers, grants, and corporate and individual donations. Your support and involvement make a difference!

FOOTPRINTS is committed to cultivating and preserving a culture of inclusion and connectedness. The collective sum of individual differences, life experiences, knowledge, innovation, self-expression, and talent represent our culture. We are able to grow and learn better together as a diverse team and is the key to our success.

BENEFITS
Our volunteers receive hands-on experience by providing direct in-person service delivery to children and youth.  Each shift is different and provides opportunity to connect with clients, lead activities  and meet other volunteers.

Extensive training is provided to expand knowledge base and develop skills.  Benefits include autism education and orientation, on-going support , crisis intervention training, First Aid/CPR training and opportunities to join fun initiatives and projects.  In addition, we award an education bursary to support an outstanding volunteer annually!

REQUIREMENT
You must be enthusiastic and have a passion for community support, and enjoy having fun connecting with children and youth.  We welcome students that need to complete high school volunteer hours. We require a minimum of two shifts per month that consist of one morning (4 hours) and one afternoon session (4 hours). Terms available are 3 months, 6 months and 12 months.
