Julie Cashin-Oster is the Operations Manager for FOOTPRINTS 4 Autism. As Operations Manager Julie ensures organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for FOOTPRINTS’ financial and operational functions. Julie is also responsible for Marketing and Fund Development.
In collaboration with a volunteer Steering Committee Julie:
- Assists in creating operational and program budgets
- Contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies; policies and procedures
- Manages human resources, both staff and volunteers
- Insures program growth and development according to the Strategic Plan

Lauren Danes joined FOOTPRINTS 4 Autism in 2010. She was hired as an Alternate in 2013 and is now the Program Supervisor for Saturdays (9am-12pm) in Whitby.She is currently a 3rd year student at Glendon College (York U). She is completing a bilingual Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Psychology.
Lauren has experience in a variety of recreational programs including children’s summer programming for the City of Oshawa and Town of Whitby.
She has also coordinated the Summer Sizzlers program for adults with developmental disabilities through Community Living.

Michele Boothe joined FOOTPRINTS 4 Autism in 2012 as a volunteer. She was hired on as an alternate in 2012 and is the Program Supervisor for Friday nights in Pickering.Michele is currently attending York University for Sociology.
Michele participated in the Scotiabank Waterfront Marathon in October 2013 – for the first time, as part of TEAM FOOTPRINTS raising money for FOOTPRINTS.
Prior to FOOTPRINTS, Michele had an internship at the Ronald McDonald House for two years working with children who are receiving treatment at a nearby children’s hospital.
She graduated from Seneca College from the Social Service Worker program in 2013.

She is currently attending Wilfrid Laurier University for Psychology and Youth & Children’s Studies. Prior to FOOTPRINTS, Nicole completed multiple co-op placements in classrooms and daycares.

Melissa Benevides joined FOOTPRINTS 4 Autism as a volunteer in 2014. She was hired on as a Camp Counsellor in 2015, Alternate in 2016, and she is currently the Teen Program Consultant.Melissa graduated from the University of Toronto in 2014. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science (H.B.Sc.) in Mental Health Studies.
Melissa has enjoyed working with children, as a parent, school volunteer, dance instructor, director of community events, and through her various roles within FOOTPRINTS.
